FC Porto Coach Sergio Conceicao Confident Ahead of Crucial Champions League Clash with Arsenal

FC Porto coach Sergio Conceicao has ensured that his team will pose a threat when they visit Arsenal's stronghold in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 at the Emirates Stadium, London, early Wednesday morning WIB.

Quoted from UEFA's official website on Monday, Sergio explained that their one-goal advantage from the first leg will not have much impact on the upcoming match.

"This is a good game, a Champions League match. Our opponents had more ball possession, but Porto is always more dangerous," Sergio clarified.

In the previous first-leg match, Porto successfully secured a narrow 1-0 victory thanks to the solitary goal scored by Galeno.

Regarding the first-leg match, Sergio assessed that his team performed exceptionally well, but as they approach the second leg, they only have a short time to prepare.

"The players should be happy with what they did (in the first leg). There is only a little time to work, but there is a lot of determination," Sergio said.

"The team perfectly understands the spaces they need to enter to condition our opponents and also what we need to do upfront to hurt them," he concluded.

In the second leg, Porto only needs to secure at least a draw against Arsenal to ensure their passage to the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season.
